Product Introduction

This is a kind of little shaft pin, which is made from steel material by CNC machining. Typically crafted from high-quality steel grades Q235 steel or stainless steel 303, based on application needs, ensuring optimal strength, wear resistance, or corrosion resistance. Can be designed with varied lengths, diameters, grooves, threads, chamfers, or holes to meet unique functional demands, whether for torque transmission, axial positioning, or pivot connections.

Material and process

Material introduction

The shaft pins are made of two materials: 303 stainless steel and 1.0038 steel. For surface treatment, the 1.0038 steel parts require zinc plating, while the 303 stainless steel ones do not. All components are manufactured using the CNC machining process.

Manufacturing process

The product is actually quite straightforward and can be produced using ordinary CNC machining. Then they  need to be sent for zinc plating, and this is environmentally friendly zinc. Normally, hexavalent chromium passivation treatment is required to enhance corrosion resistance after galvanizing, but hexavalent chromium is a strong carcinogen. Environmentally friendly zinc is treated with trivalent chromium passivation, chromium-free passivation, etc., to reduce toxicity.

Inspection

The shaft pins have tolerance requirements, which we verify using pin gauges. For threads, we use thread gauges, and for high-precision holes, we also employ pin gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy. This inspection process guarantees that each component meets the specified tolerances, ensuring seamless integration and performance in the final application.

Packing

They are packed in bulk into cartons and separated from the carton by using a plastic bag.
