3D printing is a new effective way to work prototype. The printing machine helps to build the item from 3D drawing, most are in plastic , with some small group in metal.
The first one is the sample from customer . We scan and then crate 3D drawing , Print 3D plastic sample for customer to assemble. And then make mold after drawing approved.
Avoid the risk before molding.
ODM Prototypes
The welding bracket (right one)is the sample from customer. We scan the two flanges and body. Then build the body with our idea in response to customer’s requirement . Then we print plastic 3D sample for customer’s assemble. Make mold after approved. Risk is avoided in this process.

Q Why to make a prototype?
Cuz it is risk-taking to make a mould directly for the new products ,for one reason,the cost for tools are usually expensive and for another reason,it takes a long time . so it is a safe way to make a prototype first to check the design if it is correct or not ,and it is much cheaper and quicker.

First to confirm which process to make prototype , 3D printing or CNC milled. Second , send 3D drawing like .stl , .stp, igs, x_t file to us , then we will use 3-axis / 4-axis/5-axis CNC milling or FDM printer ,SLA 3D printer.

According the structure of the prototype, usually 2-3 days for 3D printing. And one week for milling.
