Our German client has come up with several stunning designs for furniture legs.
These legs come in a bunch of different styles, from mirror-polished finishes that shine like glass to brushed matte anodized looks with a subtle. They were usually used in sofa legs, or other furniture.
Visual surface is pretty important to the quality and improve the reputation of the furniture.
Material and Process :
The furniture leg is combined with aluminum feet and its long bolt.
1. The aluminum foot are extruded with hole 12mm square bar, but hole not in its center, then CNC milled the outer lines, make one square end smaller, drill thread M6 in its top. Aluminum material 6061-T6 is the best choice for CNC machining and surface treatment.
It has two surface finishes, one brush with nature anodized, another one polishing like mirror. Our people are extremely careful to work the surface, for every steps, it would lay into form turnover boxes, to make sure surface finish without any defected.
2. The bolt is another material of mild steel, strong durable. It is pretty longer than foot with head hot forged and hexagon socket 8mm. And roll the M12 thread in another end.
3. The bolt insert into foot's hole , and then screw into furniture's other parts.
That is very beautiful furniture assembly.
4. Full inspection
We use calipers to check the aluminum foot's square dimensions, ensuring they are qualified. Then we carefully inspect each product surface, micro-scratches or dents on mirror-polished surfaces are non-conforming; such units are routed for re-polishing. For brushed finishes, we verify uniform texturing; any localized areas exhibiting inconsistent gloss are rejected. Any scratch or defect is not allowed.
5.Packing
Every aluminum leg is put in bubble bag individually before being placed in boxes, then put them in box. When we stack boxes on pallets, each stack gets wrapped with film around the sides and over the top to prevent shifting. On the edges of the pallet, we place cardboard corner guards. These are like bumpers that absorb impact if the pallet hits other places.
