Production Introduction

This is stainless steel flange used in auto exhaust systems. There are many types, like v-band flange , exhaust flange and so on. 304 stainless steel flanges boast several remarkable advantages and play crucial roles in the automotive industry. Material and process

Pictures below v-band flange, there are many models, like 2.5”, 3”, 3.5”.

Material is stainless steel seamless tube, just CNC turning into Ra3.2 roughness surface and tolerance according DIN2768-m. Seamless steel pipes are cylindrical tubes made from a single piece of steel, featuring no welded seams along their length. Unlike welded pipes, which are formed by joining steel plates or strips, seamless pipes offer uniform structural integrity. It is usually used in V-clamp.

There are several oval flange.

To resave the material cost, these oval stainless steel flange are worked by plate.

Laser cut the 12mm or 10mm thick plate, then grind the side face to smooth surface, CNC machine the upper and bottom surface to make it pretty smooth, and CNC turning the center big hole, milling the two side holes or edge in proper location.

There are T3, T4 flange, the material and production is pretty similar like oval flange , it also worked in stainless steel plate.
