1. Material Selection

• Primary Material: aluminum alloy  (6063-T5)

• Preparation: close size OD78mm of aluminum round rod.

2. Extrude Process

    Setup:

Special extrude tooling to make before extruding.

    Extruding:

Heat the material and assemble the extruding mold , extruded by a 300ton machine, with a suitable speed into tube.

    Mold:

• Mold material in H13 alloy steel. Container in OD80mm.

• Heat treatment needed, hardness in HRC46-50.

3. Design Features

• Lamp tube: Two sizes (half round, in 600mm and 400mm length), to let cable into.

• Flat recess area : to fit LED assemble in.

4. Material and Process Specifications

Pre-heat the 6063 aluminum material into around 480 degree before extruded, soft will make it easy to extrude. and also heat the mold into around 450 degree. 6063 material must be homogenized.

5. CNC machining Processing

Lamp tube:

1. Machining Specifications:

• CNC milling two ends with a socket .

• Drill M3 thread in correct location.

• Outer diameter: 18 mm, inter diameter 12mm.

2. Sand blasted:

• 600 grit sand blasted, to get nice and uniform surface.

• Hang into machine one by one to blast 10minute.

6. Surface Treatment

• Finish: Anodize

• Color Options: Nature anodized, chroming matt.

• Customization: Available in other special color, need RAL.

7. Packing

Invidual packing: each packed in bubble bag.

Caton packing: Double Wall Corrugated Fiberboard is the best option.

Custom case packing: Composite board wooden case.
