This custom silicone body mount assembly is for car suspension systems. Our customer redesigned it based on their specific needs. It has two steel plates, two silicone bushings, a silicone washer, and a nylon washer. All these parts are put together to make a suspension component.
Material and process:
1. The steel plates are worked by AISI1045 steel.
They are hot forged and then CNC machining to correct tolerance as drawing. Surface is in black electrophoresis.

Then drill the deep hole and thread, through, check out the pictures below:
2. Silicon bushing and washer
The silicone bushings and washers are made with injection molds, 1-1 cavity, that is each mold makes one part at a time. The bushings have a hardness of 50-70 Shore, and the washers are 30 Shore.
3. Nylon wash
It is worked by injection process.
With 30% glass fiber, so it will make the nylon item strong enough.
All are assembled as drawing and then packed in wooden case with individual bubble bag, laid into pallets and put on the shipping mark.
