Product Introduction

Wheelchair spoke is the structural rods connecting the wheelchair wheel's hub to the rim, playing a crucial role in load-bearing and maintaining wheel shape. 

The spoke transmits the weight of the user and wheelchair from the hub to the rim, ensuring the wheel remains stable and round. Spokes are under tension, keeping the rim evenly supported and absorbing shocks from uneven surfaces.

The common materials for the spoke are stainless steel, aluminum alloy and carbon fiber. There are different shape spokes such as straight spoke, “J” shape spoke and blade spoke. The number of spoke typically 24–36 per wheel, with more spokes providing greater strength.

Material and process

Made from stainless steel wire, the custom spoke undergoes a precise production process: the head is cold-forged for enhanced durability, followed by bending and thread rolling at the end. Every detail is proceeded strictly in accordance with the customer's technical drawings, guaranteeing exact compliance with specifications.

Packing

The spokes are wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the surface from scratches, and then packed in wooden cases to add protection. This double-layer packaging ensures that the products remain intact during transportation and storage, with the bubble wrap providing cushioning against impacts, and the wooden case offering robust external reinforcement.
