This custom silicone body mount assembly is designed for automotive suspension systems. It was redesigned by our customer to meet their specific requirements. The assembly consists of:
Two steel plates
Two silicone bushings
One silicone washer
One nylon washer
These components are assembled together to form a critical suspension component.
Material: AISI 1045 Steel
Process:
Hot forged into rough parts
CNC machined to achieve precise tolerances as per drawing specifications
Surface finished with black electrophoresis
Manufacturing Steps:
Hot forging produces the initial rough shape
CNC machining refines the part to exact dimensions
Deep hole drilling and threading are performed

Tooling: 1+1 cavity (each mold produces one part per cycle)
Hardness:
Bushings: 50–70 Shore
Washer: 30 Shore

Material: Nylon with 30% glass fiber reinforcement for enhanced strength
