Joyo are full of experience in making wheel chair parts, its process includes stamping and forming, CNC machining and so on.
Materials are mainly in stainless steel and aluminum.
Here is one example for making wheelchair rim, in which we learn a lot in working it.
1、After drawing analysis and confirm, we’d prepare the material, cut stainless tube OD14x1 into correct length, and insert one small tube in one end.

2、Prepare the punch mold.
3、Punch one end by mold , later stamp the hole and cut off end into radius..

| 4、 Bend the rim arm into correct radius and then wire cutting the other side of tube. | 5、After all done, clean the surface to remove the oil and grease. |

6、 Welding the arm to round big rim and come the final rim.

During this whole process , we feel it pretty important to check the rim arm with measuring tool . First we utilize 3D print to measure tool by plastic , but we found that it shrink a bit , which leads to bad result , finally we use the CNC milling to measure tool with aluminum material , which is precise and good to measure. And for future , we’d choose aluminum milling process as making measuring tool .
