A For CNC turning , workpiece rotates while cutting tool is stationary , and the CNC milling is just on the contrary. Besides , CNC turning use the single-point cutting tool , and CNC milling use end mills, drills, and ball-nose cutters .
-
A Normally with ISO-2768 standard , however it will largely depend on customer’s drawing .
Tight tolerance can be up to 0.005mm.
-
A After receiving drawings , 2D & 3D will be used first , usually in one week , or 2weeks if too complex.
-
A CNC machining is widely used in almost manufacturing, it is the base of all other manufacturing.
The machines can provide customers with precise parts from cutting metals, wood, composites, plastics and others, which are used in almost every industry.
-
A Cuz it is risk-taking to make a mould directly for the new products ,for one reason, the cost for tools are usually expensive and for another reason,it takes a long time . so it is a safe way to make a prototype first to check the design if it is correct or not ,and it is much cheaper and quicker.
-
A First to confirm which process to make prototype , 3D printing or CNC milled.
Second , send 3D drawing like .stl , .stp, igs, x_t file to us , then we will use 3-axis / 4-axis/5-axis CNC milling or FDM printer ,SLA 3D printer.
-
A According the structure of the prototype, usually 2-3 days for 3D printing.
And one week for milling.
-
A For water glass casting process , usually in CT8, for silica sol casting , usually in CT6 , for detail of casting tolerance , pls visit casting tolerance.
